This card is part of a tarot deck I've created entitled Chain of Life Tarot comprised of vintage photographic imagery altered and added to in Photoshop. I've been taking the art I've created for each Upper Arcana card and turning them into pendant necklaces. This is the Justice Card, a card that speaks of the need for balance in our lives in relationships, in work, in every transaction.For every action there is a reaction, for everything given something is taken. This card speaks to us of finding the balance in the scales of justice within our situation. I've illustrated Justice as a beautiful woman walking through the streets of Paris holding the scales of justice high, underneath a full moon.This original art is the combination of a vintage postcard of a woman, a photo of a pair of brass scales (purchased just for this card) and another vintage photo postcard of a street in Paris whose scale was tremendously altered to make an appropriate backdrop for the Lady Justice.
